The KW Associate Entry process has changed! Previously, you would do this in WinMORE, but now all of this is managed in the new Associates Applet in Command MC. First, in order for an associate to join your Market Center, you must create a recruit card, in the Command MC Recruits Applet. Once created, you will move the recruit card to the Committed phase, of the Recruiting Pipeline, and invite the recruit to the Market Center.
All Market Center leadership roles, with the exception of Compliance Coordinator, have the ability to invite a recruit to the Market Center. The language and region specific terms used in the Joining Portal flow are determined by the Market Center that sends the invitation. Before you invite the recruit to the MC, it's recommended that you have a conversation with the recruit to set expectations around the KW Joining Portal process and recommend that they have the following information ready to enter (if they have all of this information ready, the estimated Joining Portal completion time is around 30 minutes):
|
Once you send the invite, an email from "no-reply@system.kw.com" will be sent to the recruit, via email, with the link to the KW Joining Portal. Once the recruit completes the KW Joining Portal process, they will be added to the Market Center roster, in Command MC. Once you sync the new associate data into WinMORE, the two systems will be in parity with associate data.

To invite an associate to the Market Center through Command MC:
Access (Starts in Recruits)
1. Log in to https://agent.kw.com with your KW login credentials.
2. Click Command MC, at the top of the page.
3. Click the Recruits icon, , on the left side of the page.
4. Find the recruit card, in your Recruiting Pipeline, then drag the recruit card to the Committed phase.
You will not see the Invite to MC button until the recruit card is moved to the Committed phase. If this associate was with your Market Center previously and are returning, keep in mind that they might already have an existing recruit card, in the Recruits applet. You can find and edit their existing Recruit Record to add them to the Recruiting Pipeline. |
5. Click in to the Committed phase, and click Invite to MC, at the bottom right of the recruit card.
The Invite to MC Form and Statuses
1. A form will appear, with the recruit's name and email auto-populated, and a few options that will determine how they will be added to the Associates applet and the MC roster:
- Name Fields - you can make changes here before sending, but these changes won't update the recruit card. The recruit will have an opportunity to update their preferred and legal name in the Joining Portal that is emailed through this process.
- Email - this pulls from the recruit card. You have the option of editing the email here, but that will not update the recruit card. The recruit will have an opportunity to update their preferred email address in the Joining Portal that is emailed through this process.
- Does this recruit have an active real estate license? - select whether the associate has an active real estate license right now. The recruit will have an opportunity to add their license number in the Joining Portal (even if you make a mistake on this question), but the agent will still need to be activated after being added to the MC and you will always be able to add their license number later, once added.
- Will this recruit be a part of the Market Center staff? - If you select Yes here, they will be added to the MC with the MC Leader role, which will give immediate access to Command MC, once they complete the Joining Portal process, though you will have the ability to add leadership roles to their record later as well.
2. Click Send Invite once you are ready to send the Joining Portal email to the recruit.
Once you send the invite, an email from "no-reply@system.kw.com" will be sent to the recruit, via email, with the link to the KW Joining Portal. You will be able to track the progress of the recruit completing this joining process with a few statuses that show in the Recruiting Pipeline:
- Invitation Sent - the invitation has been sent, but the recruit has not clicked the link to start the process.
- Invitation Accepted - the recruit clicked to start the process, but has not completed it yet.
-
Joined - the recruit completed the Joining Portal and clicked to join the MC. Once this happens, they will be added to the Associates applet, in Command MC, though they will also stay in Recruits with the Recruit and Associate cards being linked (same timeline events, added information, notes, etc.).
- The recruit card will automatically be moved to the Joined stage, in the Committed phase, once they complete the Joining Portal process.
- The recruit card will stay in the Recruits Pipeline for 30 days before falling out of the pipeline, though they will always be accessible through the Recruits Database view.
- There is no pipeline functionality in Associates, with checklists and stages/phases, like there is in Recruits. You do have the ability to move the recruit card to custom stages past the Joined stage, where you can create custom checklists and add them to Command MC Smartplans.
|
Once the recruit completes the Joining Portal, Market Center leaders (OP, MCA, AMCA, TL , ATL) will receive an email and Command notification letting them know. The recruit will now officially be an associate in your Market Center, where you can start managing their associate record.
