Add an Existing Active KW Associate to your Market Center (Transfers & Dual MC Associates)

If you need to add a KW associate to your Market Center, and they already active in another Market Center, there is an easy way to add them to your Market Center.

• You will need the associate's KWUID to complete the steps below. If you don't know their KWUID, the associate can look this up on their end.

To add an existing active KW associate to your Market Center:

1. Log in to https://agent.kw.com with your KW login credentials.

2. Click Command MC, at the top of the page.

3. Click the Associates icon, , on the left side of the page.

4. At the top right of the page, click Add an Associate, then select Add Existing KW Associate.

5. Enter the Associate's KWUID, then click Add Associate.

• If you don't know their KWUID, the associate can look this up on their end.

6. The associate's information will appear, once you confirm that is the correct person, click Confirm. If not, click Back and make sure they gave you the correct KWUID, then repeat.

7. Answer the questions on the page, then click Add Associate.

• Does this recruit have an active real estate license? - select whether the associate has an active real estate license right now. The recruit will have an opportunity to add their license number in the Joining Portal (even if you make a mistake on this question), but the agent will still need to be activated after being added to the MC and you will always be able to add their license number later, once added.
• Will this recruit be a part of the Market Center staff? - If you select Yes here, they will be added to the MC with the MC Leader role, which will give immediate access to Command MC, once they complete the Joining Portal process, though you will have the ability to add leadership roles to their record later as well.

The associate will then officially be added to the Market Center, in Command MC. Market Center leaders (OP, MCA, AMCA, TL , ATL) will receive an email and Command notification letting them know. From there, you can activate them as a licensed agent, if applicable. If you selected Yes, in the "Will this recruit be a part of the Market Center Staff" question, they will automatically have the MC Leader role and have access to Command MC for your Market Center.

Before you activate the associate as a licensed agent, and if they are transferring from a Market Center in the same state, make sure that the other Market Center they are coming from has either chosen "Set as Associate" or "Remove Associate" in their Associates applet. If they do not, you will receive a "please enter a valid license number that is unique per state" error, which just means that the Associate cannot have two records with the same license number in the same state.
