The KW Associate Entry process has changed! Previously, you would do this in WinMORE, but now all of this is managed in the new Associates Applet in Command MC. First, in order for an associate to join your Market Center, you must create a recruit card, in the Command MC Recruits Applet. Once created, you will move the recruit card to the Committed phase, of the Recruiting Pipeline, and invite the recruit to the Market Center.
That being said, there is more to onboarding associates than simple entry. There are Market Center specific processes and extra steps you can take to ensure the associate is set up for success. Below are some best practices, and some necessary steps, your Market Center can review to successfully onboard a new associate:
1. Complete and verify the recruit's KPA
2. Sign Market Center specific paperwork - for example:
- Direct Deposit for MC, Billing
- Billing Agreement
- W9 or equivalent (please note: if Associate is a company, then W9 will need to be for company)
- Independent Contractor Agreement
- P&G Acknowledgement Page
- Real Estate License Number/Information
3A. Invite the Associate to the Market Center through Command MC (New/Returning Associate Entry)
- If this associate was with your Market Center previously and are returning, keep in mind that they might already have an existing recruit card, in the Recruits applet. You can find and edit their existing Recruit Record to add them to the Recruiting Pipeline.
3B. Add an Existing Active KW Associate to your Market Center (Transfers & Dual MC Associates)
4. Receive Confirmation Email of the Completion of the New Associate KW Joining Portal or Returning Associate KW Joining Portal
5. Review the Associate's KW Password Recovery Email Address and Ensure It is a Personal Address (Not an @kw.com Address)
6. Review the Cap Management Tool
7. Activate Agent Status for an Associate (if applicable)
- After activation, you might need to adjust the agent's production status (Licensed Referral Only (AR) or Licensed Admin Agent (AO))
- Learn more about Associate Status Combinations
8. Assign Leadership Roles to a New Staff Member (if applicable)
9. Sync the Associate's Data with WinMORE
10. Add the Agents MLS ID to their Associate Record (if applicable)
11. Add the Associate to a Team in Command MC (if applicable)
- If the team isn't created yet, you must Create the Team before you can add the associate
12. Enter Customer Card in AccountEdge/Lonewolf
13. Add Associate to Billing System (AccountEdge Connect/Lonewolf)
14. Have a Consultative Conversation
15. Ensure the associate is registered for Ignite
