Question:Does the market center ever pay a concession directly to a buyer on behalf of an agent after closing? Or does everything have to be done on the HUD and disbursed at closing?
I have an agent that submitted a greensheet for a closing showing a concession check to be issued to the Buyer from KW.
Answer: Before doing anything, speak with your Broker about this issue as he/she knows the RE Commission regulations in your state. If the Broker/owner has agreed to allow the concession and it can be done in compliance with all state regulations, you can enter the concession in WinMore. However, be sure to check with your Broker concerning regulations for paying "commission" to someone who is not a licensed RE agent and how this should best be handled to protect the Broker, agent and Market Center. Basically, this issue is a Broker decision on how to handle the concession.
