Q. We have an associate who is leaving, but she still has two pending deals. Do I keep her Active in WinMORE until they close?
A. Before marking the associate R/VR, be sure that the associate has updated all opportunities through submitting compliance and commission requests AND that the MCA has imported those commission requests and drafted DA per the Agent Offboarding Checklist for MC Leadership. Once the associate has updated their opportunities and collected their data from Command and Gmail, please proceed with the steps outlined in Associate Transfer Process if they are transferring to another KW market center or Agent Offboarding Checklist for MC Leadership if the associate is leaving KW altogether.
Per KWRI Policies & Guidelines 4.9.1.33, "The associate will receive all of the normal commission he/she would have received if he/she were still associated with the Market Center at the time the transaction
closes." This is commission income and must be processed by the market center through WinMORE as commission income to ensure proper tax reporting.
WinMORE will allow you to continue to process DAs that you started for this associate. You can also create new DAs for this associate once you have removed her (depending on when they were removed, you may be prompted for a password). WinMORE will alert you that the associate has been removed and ask if you want to proceed, and you can say yes.
If you are prompted for a password, send a request from the market center KLRW email for a password to MCA Support through this form. Make sure to include in the request the
- Associate Name
- MORE ID and
- date they left
