KWAR Import SALEITEM.txt file cannot be found

When using the KWAR program, your system may place the SALEITEM.txt file in the root folder of the KWAR program rather than in the same location as the data files.

If you accepted the default install location when installing the KWAR program, this will be in the C:\program files (x86)\KWAR folder.

If you search your computer and cannot find the SALEITEM.txt file anywhere, your computer may be blocking the creation of the file.

Enable "Run as Administrator" to give KWAR the proper permissions.

1. Right click the KWAR shortcut
2. Select Properties
3. Go to the Shortcut tab
4. Click Advanced
5. Check the run as Administrator checkbox
6. Click OK/Apply

If you don't have the option to set this permission, you may need to create a new shortcut for KWAR that allows this option.

On your desktop:

1. Right click
2. Select New - Shortcut.
3. Navigate to the KWAR folder (Your location could vary, the most commons location is the Program Files (x86) folder on your computer drive.
4. Name the Shortcut (KWAR)
5. Select the ARProcessor.exe file
6. Click OK/Accept.

Follow the steps above to set the "Run As Administrator" option.
