The process for transferring an agent from one office to another is as follows (launching Market Centers will need to follow the instructions found here):
Associate's Originating Office:
The MCA of the associate's originating Market Center prints a transfer form (for transferring the Associates profit share downline) from WinMORE and sends it to the associate's new Market Center.
The MCA of the originating Market Center changes the associate's status in WinMORE to PO O (Check first with the new market center to ensure they have been added to WinMORE in that market center). They will stay in PO/O Status until KWRI notifies the Market Center via the AA download that they can be removed.
Associate's New Office:
The new Market Center adds the associate to their WinMORE system with their appropriate status. Once they're added to the MORE system, the new Market Center emails the fully signed transfer form to WinMOREAdmin@kw.com to request the downline be moved.
NOTE: If the Associate transferring is a Vested person that will not be active in the new market center (just transferring their vested record from one Market Center to another), you cannot set their status to VR in the month you enter them. Enter the associate as PO/O. Once their downline has been transferred/moved, you will be notified via the AA download and you can safely change them to VR at that point.
Once the transfer form is submitted:
KWRI transfers the down line of the associate to their new Market Center. KWRI will inform the originating Market Center that it's okay to change the associate's status to R in WinMORE via the All Associates Download in the Associates Changes Log. (This process may take a couple of months depending on the timing of the transfer in relation to transmittal.)
If you have any other questions about this process, please email MCASupport@kw.com
Handling Caps for Transferred Associates:
Special care must be taken to ensure that an associate that transfers market centers does not pay more than their cap amount between what is paid in both market centers. Initially the cap is set to only collect the amount remaining on their cap. As transactions occur, the cap needs to be updated in both market centers.
