Budgets are entered at the beginning of the year and may be modified mid year with the approval of your region. To enter budgets for either your Business Center or your Market Center (or both), go into AccountEdge and click Lists, then Jobs.
Select one of the sub-jobs (the monthly Detail jobs). Click Budgets.
Enter the appropriate month’s budget amounts. Click OK until you are back to the Job List.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each month
Setting Up Multiple Business Centers
Sometimes a Market Center will have more than one Business Center. AccountEdge is able to track a number of Business Centers by simply creating multiple job codes.
