There is a specific order in which you must remove outside referrals in order to fully remove the information from the DA.
Removing an Outside Broker
WinMORE only shows the outside broker window on the Associate Details screen if there is an amount in the Outside field on Page 2 of the DA. If you remove the amount on Page 2 first, then WinMORE will not let you removed the outside referral on the Associate Details, and you will end up with the outside about still listed on the DA.
To properly remove an outside broker:
- Open the DA and go to the Part 2 DA Entry.
- Click Associate Details
- For each associate listed:
- Open the associate details record
- Click in the Outside field, the Outside Broker Detail Window will open
- Click in the ID field of the Outside Broker Detail to be removed (The entire row should be highlighted in Blue).
- Hit the Delete Button on your Keyboard. The record should be removed.
- Click OK
- Tab through the rest of the Associate Details and Save
- On Part 2 of the DA
- Enter zero for Outside
- Save the DA, the Outside Referral should not longer be on the DA.
Removing a Deleted Outside Broker Record
If you do not follow the proper order of removal, the outside broker detail record will still print on the DA and if left on the DA the outside broker will get a 1099 for that amount. To delete the record, you need to get WinMORE to display the Outside Broker Detail screen so you can remove it.
- Open the DA and go to the Part 2 DA Entry.
- Enter $1 in the Outside Field
- Click Associate Details
- For each associate listed:
- Open the associate details record
- Click in the Outside field, the Outside Broker Detail Window will open
- Click in the ID field of the Outside Broker Detail to be removed (The entire row should be highlighted in Blue).
- Hit the Delete Button on your Keyboard. The record should be removed.
- Click OK
- Tab through the rest of the Associate Details and Save
- On Part 2 of the DA
- Enter zero for Outside
- Save the DA, the Outside Referral should not longer be on the DA.
