When posting DAs during the first three days of the month, it's very important to review the Check Date of the commission. This will dictate the month you must post this closing in your WinMORE system.
For example, if during April transmittal you receive a check dated 5/1, you cannot post that DA in April business as it is a May closing. When you receive a commission check dated for a prior month and the agent has started a new anniversary year, the MC will be charged Franchise Royalty when the DA is posted. A Franchise Adjustment is not valid in this instance.
The Policy & Guideline manual states that all closings must be turned in within 48 hours to be honored at 100%. As well, this is why you must follow up on the Projected Closings not yet received to be certain that a capped agent who is coming off of cap did not have a closing that you are unaware of. You must be diligent in confirming the integrity of the data from this standpoint.
