Q. I received a check from an associate for rental property that is basically one month’s rent which we (KW) will get as the commission. How do I process this? If there was a deal between my associate and the OP that up until the end of June he gets 100% of these checks, how do I process this?
A. This is a Type S Class L(ease) DA. Manually enter 100% Commission Split % in the DA Entry – Associate Detail screen for this deal. The associate will have to pay the royalty. Royalty is never waived. Ensure a Lease Opportunity and Commission has been completed and all compliance documentation received.
