Q. We received a referral check for an associate who is no longer with us. The referral originated when she was still an active associate, but she has moved on to another company. In a case such as this should company dollar and royalty still be taken out?
A. Yes, company dollar and royalty will be due according to whatever split this associate would be on right now if she had not left, per the KWRI Policies & Guidelines section 4.9.1.33. If she was capped when she left and is in that same anniversary year, she is still capped. If she had not capped, then she must pay normally. WinMORE can process DAs for Status = R associates, so there is no need to input her again. When you setup the DA and input the ID for the removed associate, the system will respond with "Are you sure you want to use Status = R Associate?" Answer yes and proceed with the DA as usual.
If the associate separated more than six (6) months ago, a password may be required to process the DA. See also Closings for Associate who has Left MC.
