OP Salary

Q. The owners of our Market Center have decided to begin paying our OP a monthly fee. How should I do this?

A. Salary – OP salary is only allowed above the line with Market Center ALC, RD, and KWRI’s written approval and when the Market Center is profitable year to date. Otherwise the OP salary must be below the line. The KWRE Policies & Guidelines Manual limits the amount approved to $2000. This is in our latest KW Standard Chart of Accounts (U.S. and Canada): 6-9160 Salaries – Salaries - OP - ALC, RD, KWRI must approve no more than $2000 per month above the line.
