WinmMORE scans your backup folder to ensure that your backups are happening. If WinMORE detects that the backup folder is empty, it will display an error similar to the messages below:
There could be a valid reason, and caution should be taken to ensure this is purposeful and not related to data issues on the computer.
Possible valid reasons include but are not limited to:
- Files moved to another location to create space on the drive where WinMORE resides - search all drives and servers, including the Recycle Bin for the files
- New Backup Folder location was just created and no backups have taken place yet.
If the files were not moved purposefully, investigate why the files are missing. Be sure to let your IT service know not to move or rename files in the WinMORE3 folder outside of those listed in WinMORE – File Maintenance (U.S. and Canada).
