Error: I am trying to print an invoice from AccountEdge and am getting an error message Printer not activated Error Code -20.
Fix: Do you have Norton Antivirus on your computer? If so the Office Plug-In feature in Norton Antivirus may be preventing AccountEdge from generating the form as a .PDF.
Try the following:
- Close AccountEdge
- Open Norton Antivirus
- Click Options or Other
- Click Miscellaneous
- Uncheck the Office Plug-In box and
- click OK
- Open AccountEdge.
- Try to print the form again
Note: If this doesn't resolve the issue, or you don't have Norton Antivirus installed, try disabling script blocking in the antivirus software that is installed. Your IT service should be able to assist you with this.
