To remain competitive during certain times (i.e. natural disaster, market fluctuation, etc.), a Market Center, with written approval from the Region and KWRI, may choose to adjust their default company dollar cap for all of their associates across the board. The Market Center will determine when they want their adjusted cap to take effect.
The request must be submitted in writing to your Regional Director for consideration and, if recommended, forwarded to the KWRI Commitment Department for written approval and a password to allow changes to the Market Center’s WinMORE system.
What happens when you change your default Market Center company dollar cap:
- When new associates are added after the cap change, their cap will automatically default to the new company dollar cap.
- When you run your Royalty Exceptions report for the first time in that current month (after changing the cap) and if a current associate’s anniversary date renews in that month, it will automatically default to the new CO$ CAP, unless you have entered an alternative value in the CAP default box on the agent record. If you change your default company dollar cap after you have generated the Royalty exceptions report, you will have to manually change the caps in the given month for those associates that reset.
- Changing your default company dollar cap is not retroactive. It will not automatically change the caps for previously entered associates in your WinMORE system (until their company dollar anniversary date, or if you change it manually).
- Changing the company dollar cap default has no impact to royalty.

If your associate has paid their company dollar cap in full and the Operating Principal wants to acknowledge the reduction in CO$ CAP there are a couple of options:
- Discount the associate’s company dollar cap for next anniversary year by the difference.
- For example, Associate John Doe paid a full cap of $20,000 to your Market Center. This month you got approval and adjusted the cap to $15,000. The difference is $5,000. You can reduce John Doe’s cap on his June 1st anniversary date to $10,000 (since he paid the extra $5,000 in the prior year). You will need to enter $10,000 in the CAP defaults field so that the system will know to reset to that discounted cap in the next anniversary year.

- Create a company dollar cap adjustment DA to refund the company dollar. Please note that refunding company dollar results in negative profit share.

These are only suggestions. A Market Center owner may decide not to recognize the CO$ reduction for those who have capped. |
