Just before your WinMORE multi-user license expires, you are likely to receive this pop-up message when you open WinMORE:
This is an alert only and is not an error message.
To Disable the Alert
- Clear the license expiration message by clicking OK. (It may take multiple times clicking OK to clear the message and for WinMORE to open.
- Make sure all other users are logged out of WinMORE. You can check this under Setup - User Display. Only your workstation should show having WinMORE open.
- Go to Setup - Download Network License.
- Once the file is downloaded, Close WinMORE
- Navigate to the WinMORE3 folder.
- Locate the "WinMORE Serial Install.bat" file (yes, 2012 is the correct file date). Right click and select Open.
- If successful, a command prompt will show stating 1 file has been copied. Take a screenshot of this screen. Then click the space bar.
If these steps are not successful,
- make sure all users are logged out of WinMORE, if the file is in use it cannot be updated.
- confirm that you have WinMORE set on your local computer to Run as Administrator (Properties > Advanced > Run as Administrator > Click Apply and Save)
- repeat the steps above.
You may also need to reboot your server if necessary.
In some cases these steps are not successful in completely disabling the alert; please continue to follow Step 1 each time you open WinMORE to clear the alert and move into WinMORE.
Manual Install
If these steps are not successful, you can install the file manually:
In WinMORE:
- Go to Setup - Download Network License
- Make sure that the file downloads
- Have everyone close WinMORE (if WinMORE is open for anyone, the license won’t update)
- Navigate to the WinMORE 3 folder
- Locate the OENGINE.DLL.MC file.
- Copy the file and paste it into the WinMORE3 folder
- Delete the current OENGINE.DLL file
- Rename the OENGINE.DLL-copy.MC to OENGINE.dll
